• 4-Hour Total Care Respite Nurse OPA Home Care is looking for compassionate, dependable RNs and LPNs to provide 4-hour Total Care Respite shifts for our clients and their families.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference for a family by providing safe, attentive, one-on-one care while their primary caregiver gets a much-needed break. What You'll Do During each 4-hour respite shift, you will provide hands-on care and support based on the client's individual care plan, including: Provide total care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care Assist with transfers, positioning, mobility, and fall prevention Provide medication reminders and assistance within your scope of practice Monitor the client's condition and report changes appropriately Provide companionship, reassurance, and meaningful engagement Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment Follow the client's individualized care plan and OPA clinical standards Communicate important observations or concerns to the OPA clinical team Document care provided accurately and timely What We're Looking For Current RN or LPN license in good standing Experience providing hands-on care to seniors, veterans, or medically complex clients preferred Comfortable providing total care Dependable and punctual Compassionate, patient, and professional Strong communication skills Comfortable working independently in a client's home Ability to recognize and communicate changes in a client's condition Commitment to providing excellent, respectful care Why Work With OPA?
