LPN/LVN (License Practical Nurse) (Davenport, IA, 52804) | 05/22/26 Job Description Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor patient condition, vital signs, and report changes to RNs/physicians
Perform wound care, dressing changes, and basic nursing procedures
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation in EMR systems
Provide IV therapy, injections, catheter care, and tube feeding support
Ensure infection control and patient safety protocols are followed
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, CNAs, and healthcare teams to deliver quality care
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and healthcare needs
Supervise CNAs and support staff during assigned shifts
Respond to medical emergencies and provide basic life support when needed
Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient transfers
Support rehabilitation and long-term care plans for residents
Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow facility/state regulations
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in fast-paced healthcare environments
