Job Description

As a Paramedic or LPN with ABC Healthcare at Grifols, you will deliver direct clinical care in a plasma collection environment, ensuring donor safety and comfort. Responsibilities include conducting medical screenings, assessing eligibility, performing venipuncture, monitoring donors throughout the procedure, and responding to adverse reactions. You will document care in EMRs, follow FDA and company protocols, and collaborate with a dedicated clinical team. Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate direct patient care during plasma donation procedures Conduct medical screenings, obtain medical histories, and assess donor eligibility Administer medications and manage adverse donor reactions per protocol Monitor vital signs and document all care in electronic medical records Operate and troubleshoot plasmapheresis and related medical equipment Collaborate with physicians and clinical team to ensure quality and regulatory compliance Educate donors on procedures, aftercare, and health promotion Maintain infection control, safety, and emergency response readiness Participate in quality improvement, audits, and staff training Uphold HIPAA, FDA, and company policies and procedures Required Skills Patient assessment Venipuncture and IV placement Vital signs monitoring Medication administration Electronic medical records (EMR) documentation Emergency response and stabilization Infection control procedures Medical equipment operation and troubleshooting Regulatory and compliance knowledge (FDA, HIPAA) Patient and donor education
