Qualifications Psychiatry LPN Full Job Description Core Responsibilities:
Ensure timely and accurate transmission of medication orders and refills to pharmacies via fax, phone, or DrChrono Return phone calls to pharmacies regarding medication orders and refills Manage, sort, and delegate practice fax mailbox communications Upload lab results received via fax into patient charts Add diagnosis codes to lab billing requests Prepare and submit prior authorizations for patient medications Instruct patients on relevant office procedures, including Ketamine and TMS treatment Schedule TMS and Ketamine procedure appointments as needed Administer TMS treatment as needed Administer and supervise Ketamine intramuscular injections, intranasal sprays, and troches Administer IV hydration Maintain accurate logs and records of all procedures performed Maintain inventory and ordering of Ketamine supplies Maintain and troubleshoot clinical equipment (e.g., TMS machine, IV supplies) Process patient payments for Ketamine treatments Take all appropriate steps and precautions to avoid patient harm during procedures Serve as medical liaison to patients, responding to questions between appointments via electronic communication Update providers and patient charts with pertinent information between appointments Occasionally train new staff on clinical procedures and/or office workflow Understand and comply with all HIPAA regulations Additional duties as needed: Review and send out medical records upon request Prepare and submit prior authorizations for TMS treatment Make phone calls and send faxes efficiently and in a timely manner Obtain outside medical records and test results in a HIPAA-compliant manner Respond to general patient inquiries Bill TMS appointments as neededPay:
