This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of patient populations, including geriatrics, pediatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities. You will be at the forefront of delivering compassionate, high-quality nursing services while utilizing your extensive clinical skills and knowledge of EMR/EHR systems. If you are passionate about advancing your nursing career in a supportive environment that values your dedication and expertise, this position is perfect for you! Duties Provide comprehensive patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and physical examinations to ensure accurate clinical evaluations. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform catheterizations following strict safety protocols and HIPAA confidentiality policies. Manage airway care, ventilator support, tube feeding, and wound care procedures such as suturing and sterile processing. Document all patient interactions accurately using EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks, ensuring compliance with medical documentation standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with complex needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or acute pain management. Conduct diagnostic evaluations including specimen collection/processing and assist with medical imaging procedures when necessary. Support discharge planning, case management activities, and coordinate home & community care services to promote optimal recovery and quality of life. Qualifications Valid RN or LPN license with current state licensure; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Demonstrated experience working in diverse healthcare environments including hospitals (ICU, emergency room, trauma centers), skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, or home care settings. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and infection control practices. Prior experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Meditech is highly desirable; familiarity with medical imaging and laboratory procedures is a plus. Proven ability to perform patient assessments accurately and communicate effectively with clients and caregivers. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs such as dementia or developmental disabilities is advantageous. Ability to handle high-pressure situations confidently in acute care environments including trauma centers or urgent care clinics. Join us in delivering exceptional nursing care that transforms lives! We are committed to fostering a positive work environment where your skills are valued and your professional growth is supported through ongoing training and development opportunities. All positions are paid roles dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction.
