Services provided by the Clinical Office Assistant will include, but are not limited to, general patient care, assistance with procedures, documentation of activities and patient/family education. The Clinical Office Assistant will provide care utilizing established principles and ethical standards as well as policies and procedures established by Deaconess. Education and Experience Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program required. Experience preferred but not required. Certificates Current certification from one of the below: Certified Medical Assistant

  • AMT Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
  • NHA National Certified Medical Assistant
  • NCCT Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant
  • NAHP Registered Medical Assistant
  • AAH Certified Medical Assistant Clinical
  • AMCA OR Licenses Current license from one of the below: Active LPN license, compact license preferred.
Active RN license, compact license preferred. CPR provider certification required.
