Job Description

Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

High school diploma or GED equivalentLicensure:
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program Must hold and maintain a current LPN license in Missouri and meet all State Board of Nursing requirements Comparable education experience and successful licensure may be consideredExperience:
New graduates and experienced LPNs welcomeCertifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire) LPN-IV Certification completed prior to hire or within 3 months (up to 1 year based on unit requirements)Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing and walking throughout shift Significant bending, stooping, and patient lifting/turning with assistance Ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Why Mercy?
