Registered Nurse
- RN or LPN Licensed Practical Nurse Come join us at St. Patrick's Residence! A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1964. We are a place of life, a place of caring, and more importantly, a true home for our residents. We are seeking to hire a Registered Nurse
- RN or LPN Licensed Practical Nurse .
Schedules available:
Full and Part-Time:
7pm to 7:30am. Registered NurseRN or LPN Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications :
Current Illinois license as Registered Nurse- RN or Licensed Practical Nurse
- LPN. SNF and LTC experience preferred. BLS certification. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Knowledge and interest in working with elderly. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. PCC experience a bonus! Registered Nurse
RN or LPN Licensed Practical Nurse Job Summary:
Respond to all staff, family members and residents in a courteous, patient and caring manner. Follow established standards of nursing practices and implement facility policies and procedures. Interpret existing policies and procedures to nursing staff, residents, families and physicians. Supervise and evaluate all direct resident care and initiate corrective action as necessary. Manage shift change reports and record sufficient information to implement appropriate follow-up action. Conduct resident rounds daily, reporting problems to nursing supervisor and initiating corrective action immediately.
