Location:
Abilene, KS Shifts (days, Evenings and Nights (8-hour flexible schedules-per diem shifts) Pay (Negotiable) Key Responsibilities Direct Patient Care Monitor vitals: Check temperature, blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen levels.
Give medicine:
Administer pills, IV drips, and other treatments safely.
Manage wounds:
Clean injuries, change bandages, and track healing.
Assessment and Planning Track symptoms:
Observe changes in health and report issues immediately.
Create care plans:
Build or update steps for patient recovery with the medical team.
Run tests:
Collect blood or fluid samples and help review results. Communication and Education Talk with doctors: Share updates and discuss changes in a patient's health.
Teach families:
Explain how to care for an illness or injury at home.
Support patients:
Offer comfort and answer questions during stressful times. Qualifications Active Kansas LPN or compact license in good standing Min 1 year Med Surg, LTC or post acute care experience Current BLS/CPR certification .
