Comprehensive benefits package Position Summary A growing Family Medicine clinic in Great Bend, KS is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join its outpatient clinic team. The nurse will provide professional nursing care to clinic patients while following established clinical standards, policies, and procedures. The LPN/RN will be responsible for assessing patient needs, delivering quality nursing care, documenting patient information, and using sound clinical judgment to support positive patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide professional nursing care to patients in an outpatient/family medicine clinic setting. Assess and interpret patient data to identify age-specific healthcare needs. Apply the nursing process to develop and deliver appropriate patient care. Perform patient assessments, monitor conditions, and communicate changes to healthcare providers. Administer medications and treatments as directed by established protocols. Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and other clinical activities. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and medical records. Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, follow-up care, and health maintenance. Follow established clinical standards, policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Use independent nursing judgment while working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Delegate appropriate nursing tasks to healthcare personnel and maintain accountability for delegated care. Support efficient day-to-day clinic operations and quality patient care. Requirements Current RN or LPN license in the State of Kansas or a Compact State required. Minimum 1 year of RN or LPN experience required. Outpatient clinic experience highly preferred. BLS certification required upon hire. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient-care skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
