You will be responsible for designing and implementing training programs that align with our goals, mission, and values. Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement staff training programs to enhance team members skills and performance
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skills gaps and training needs
  • Create engaging learning materials
  • Deliver training sessions through various methods such as classroom instruction, skills fairs, and on-the-job training
  • Monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness through employee evaluation metrics
  • Collaborate with Administration to ensure training programs meet compliance standards
  • Provide mentoring and coaching to team members to support their professional growth
  • Work in collaboration with the Staffing Coordinator to ensure new team members have completed orientation in the classroom and on the neighborhoods before working independently
  • Serves as a back-up to the Staffing Coordinator along with the rest of the nurse leadership team Job Requirements
  • Proven experience in staff development, training, or a related field
  • Knowledge of skilled nursing, assisted living, and memory support practices and principles
  • Familiarity with research methodologies to assess training needs effectively
  • Experience in designing and delivering employee orientation programs Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Kansas or multistate license.
Must meet and maintain regulatory requirements for licensure as nurse in Kansas. Current CPR certification is required. Specialized training or experience in geriatric nursing is desirable. Must have 1-2 years of long-term care experience; supervisory experience is preferred. Must have demonstrated leadership qualities, supervisory skills, interpersonal relationship skills, and knowledge of federal and state regulations governing clinical care, nursing practice, and leadership. Possesses an empathetic approach to the elderly. Able to work in a team setting with residents, relatives, staff, and others. Benefits offered for
