About Us We are a small, close-knit Assisted Living community dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality care to our residents. Because we are a smaller community, our team feels like family, and every staff member plays a vital role in keeping our residents safe, comfortable, and well-cared for. Role Overview We are looking for an experienced and dependable Kansas Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to lead our nursing and care team on the weekends. In this role, you will oversee weekend resident care, manage medication administration, and act as the primary supervisor for our caregiving staff during your weekend shifts. If you thrive in a smaller care environment where you can build real relationships with residents and lead a supportive team, we'd love to speak with you.
Key Responsibilities Weekend Leadership:
Supervise, support, and direct shift caregivers and medication technicians to ensure smooth weekend operations, high care standards, and safety protocols.
Resident Care:
Assess resident health status, administer medications and treatments, and monitor ongoing wellness plans. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or memory impairments such as Alzheimer's or dementia is highly desirable.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain accurate resident medical records and state-mandated documentation in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain strict medical documentation standards for all patient interactions.
Communication:
Serve as a reliable point of contact for physicians, resident families, and management regarding weekend health updates or emergencies. Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate patient care and caregiver communication while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies.
