$30.00 per hour plus $1.50 shift premium Job description The Sisters of Notre Dame are conveniently located in Covington, KY only minutes away from downtown Cincinnati. We are looking for dedicated and compassionate employees to care for our Sisters. We offer employees a rewarding environment as well as opportunities for personal and professional growth. We're currently hiring for PRN Nurses (12-hour shifts, 6-6) to join our team! This position will be responsible for a wide variety of patient care functions ensuring for the care and comfort of the residents in our Lourdes Hall and Assisted Living facility. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Functions as the Charge Nurse, including supervising other Lourdes Hall Staff under the supervision of the Director of Healthcare (DOH). Assesses and monitors residents condition and takes appropriate action, including all necessary documentation and communication to Director of Healthcare and nurse on the next shift. Prepares, administers, records and orders all medications in a safe, appropriate, and timely manner following the policy regarding administration of medications. Ensures medication administration records (MARS) are complete and accurate each month. Supports the philosophy and policies of the Sisters of Notre Dame and interprets to staff as necessary. Willing to work weekends and holidays. Knowledge, Skills and Professional Training Required Current license to practice as Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Maintains licensure in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and presents a copy of license with each annual renewal. Five + years successful experience in the field of nursing and/or gerontology.
