A Licensed Practical Nurse or Vocational Nurse provides basic medical care under the direction of registered nurses and other healthcare specialists. The tasks that they are permitted to perform vary by state, but usually include changing bandages, checking blood pressure, or helping feed patients. May work in hospitals, nursing homes, or other healthcare facilities.

in our Women's Health practice, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive outstanding, personalized care. You will support providers in a variety of clinical tasks and maintain a warm, welcoming environment for patients. Job Functions/Responsibilities:
Consult with and keep supervisor informed of clinical activities, needs, and problems related to patient care Complies with established patient care standards. Maintains established clinical policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control. Maintains a clean, orderly and safe environment. Cooperates with other personnel to achieve department objectives and maintain good employee interdepartmental and public relations. Greets patient and escort them to the exam room. Takes and records vital and patient medical information in chart. Prepares patient room for exam. Assist Provider in procedures as necessary. Completes ordered lab procedures. Administer IM, Sub Q injections to include immunizations. Wound care and suture removal as directed by Provider. Communicate results of all procedures and tests to Provider. Discharge patient to receptionist. Cleans and disinfects exam rooms after use. Restock supplies, linens, equipment, and checks for defects and outdated. Maintains professional growth and development through seminars and educational sessions are required. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid certification or license CPR Certification. Experience preferred. Licensure/Certification within good standing. Maintain required continuing education courses.
Schedule Requirements:
Full-time position, 4-5 days per week, 100% clinic-based, in person work required. Work schedules are set at the discretion of CFMC and may be adjusted at any time based on the operational needs of the organization.
