How you'll contribute As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department. Contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN. Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care; may administer medication. Documents patient care provided. Assists RN with development of plan of care. Assist patients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Monitors, documents, and communicate patient status and responses to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and family. Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. I participate in performance improvement and continuing education. Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed. Maintains regular and reliable attendance. Performs other duties as assigned.
