Our client is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) -

Day Shift, 12 Hours (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM)
Schedule:
36 Hours per Week Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide direct patient care within a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the LPN will deliver high-quality patient care, including IV therapy where credentialed, while collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Administer treatments and therapies in accordance with physician orders and established nursing standards. Monitor, document, and report patient conditions and responses to treatment. Deliver age-appropriate care that addresses patients' physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs. Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members. Assist and direct ancillary nursing personnel as appropriate. Adapt quickly to changing patient needs and unit priorities. Maintain required clinical competencies, certifications, and professional development activities. Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations, policies, and standards. Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Education High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience Minimum of 2 years of LPN/LVN experience required. Licensure & Certifications Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required at submission). IV Therapy credentials preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and delegation skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment with minimal supervision. Physical Requirements Ability to perform heavy work, including lifting, moving, and assisting patients as required. Frequent standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting throughout shifts. Work Environment Direct patient care environment with potential exposure to blood, body fluids, infectious diseases, hazardous medications, and healthcare-related waste. Adherence to all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines is required.
