Hours/Week Overview:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department (ED) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred) Minimum 2+ years of RN experience (ED experience preferred) Active RN license in the state of practice Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI certifications
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver safe, effective patient care using the nursing process Perform patient assessments and develop care plans Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Educate patients and families on care plans and treatment needs Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance Support patient safety, quality improvement, and customer satisfaction initiatives
Skills:
Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Effective time management and organizational abilities Proficiency with EMR systems and healthcare technology
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform heavy physical work, including lifting, standing, and moving patients Exposure to blood, body fluids, communicable diseases, and healthcare-related hazards
