We are seeking a reliable, compassionate Massachusetts-licensed LPN to provide scheduled nursing visits for private-pay clients residing in assisted-living communities on the South Shore. The immediate need involves brief scheduled visits for insulin administration , potentially 2-3 visits per day , based on the client's prescribed medication schedule. This opportunity may be ideal for an LPN looking to supplement an existing position with predictable per-diem work rather than taking on traditional 8- or 12-hour nursing shifts. Responsibilities Administer prescribed insulin in accordance with authorized medical orders and applicable nursing standards Perform appropriate medication and patient safety checks Document each visit and medication administration accurately Observe the client for relevant changes or concerns and communicate appropriately Maintain professional communication with the client, family, and Guardian Grove Follow all applicable Massachusetts nursing regulations and standards of practice Qualifications Current, unrestricted Massachusetts LPN license Experience with insulin administration and diabetes management Strong documentation and communication skills Reliable transportation Professional liability insurance, if required Ability to successfully complete required background and credentialing checks Assisted-living, home-care, home-health, or geriatric experience preferred Schedule This is per-diem work involving short, scheduled visits rather than full nursing shifts . Initial need is anticipated to involve insulin administration 2-3 times daily , with the potential for additional clients and nursing visits in the same facilities. Morning, afternoon, evening, and/or weekend availability may be needed depending on client medication schedules.
