Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Nurse - Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our compassionate team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional nursing care to our senior residents, ensuring their health, safety, and comfort are prioritized. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and physical examinations to evaluate residents' health status. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and treatments following prescribed protocols while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies. Manage wound care, catheterization procedures, tube feeding, and sterile techniques with precision and compassion. Document all patient care activities accurately using electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), including medical documentation, medication administration records, and incident reports. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as specimen collection/processing and support emergency response procedures like airway management or first aid when necessary. Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding health conditions, medication management, and discharge planning. Experience Valid LPN or RN license in good standing with relevant state licensing boards. Demonstrated experience working with geriatric patients in settings such as skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, or long-term care environments. Critical care experience preferred; familiarity with ICU or hospital medicine enhances your ability to handle acute situations confidently. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia-related conditions such as Alzheimer's disease is highly valued. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or Athenahealth; familiarity with

ICD-9/10

coding for medical documentation is a plus. Knowledge of long-term care regulations, infection control practices, and pain management strategies ensures safe resident care delivery.
