Job Description

LPR International is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support a healthcare program in Clinton, Maryland. This position supports patients receiving
HIV/AIDS
clinical care and program services and works under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse. What You'll Do Monitor patients throughout treatment and perform routine vital-sign checks. Monitor patients for medication side effects. Assist physicians and Registered Nurses with patient care. Support clinical services, including diagnostic evaluation and phlebotomy. Accurately and concisely document patient information. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow established clinical procedures. Follow infection-control and disease-prevention protocols. Provide limited front-desk support, including answering phones and checking in patients. What We're Looking For Active LPN license Current CPR certification At least 1 year of related experience Strong interpersonal and communication skills Compassionate and professional approach to patient care Ability to remain calm and effective in stressful situations Strong observational and documentation skills Ability to take direction and work collaboratively with physicians and nurses Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Knowledge of Epic EMR and health data/informatics systems Position Details This is a 40-hour-per-week assignment located at the HAP Program - Dyer Clinic, 9314 Piscataway Road, Clinton, MD 20735. The schedule is 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, with an anticipated assignment through February 28
