Job Description

Wound Care RN/LPN Join us in creating a uniquely enhanced sense of community and belonging as a wound care nurse at The Rivers of Grosse Pointe! We offer Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation to residents and if you are experienced, motivated, passionate and ready to call The Rivers home, we would love to hear from you! The wound care nurse will provide each resident with routine daily nursing care including but not limited to wound healing, ostomies, and skincare regimens. Education/Experience and Licensure:
Must have a current state license to practice as a LPN or Registered Nurse (RN) Wound care certification preferred One (1) year experience in a long-term care setting preferred General Responsibilities Follow all established skin management protocols Ability to stage and measure wounds and document per protocol, including documentation on skin conditions other than wounds Make weekly rounds with wound care physician Ensure care plan is followed Work with nursing team to educate CNAs as to proper positioning, training, and skin care
