upto $45/hr Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health histories. Administer medications via various routes, including injections and IV infusions, following established protocols. Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as specimen collection, laboratory processing, and medical imaging procedures. Support patients with activities of daily living and provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or memory impairments. Maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality policies. Monitor patients' conditions closely, recognizing signs of acute pain or deterioration, and escalate concerns appropriately. Manage airway care, catheterization procedures, wound suturing, and sterile techniques as needed. Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and families on health management strategies, medication administration, and post-discharge instructions. Ensure adherence to long-term care regulations and safety standards within skilled nursing facilities or assisted living environments. Skills Proven experience working as an LPN in settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for medical documentation. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and pharmacology relevant to nursing practice. Skilled in IV infusion techniques, medication administration—including injections—and venipuncture procedures. Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate documentation of diagnoses. Experience in critical care environments such as ICU or Level I trauma centers is highly desirable. Ability to perform physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations accurately. Excellent communication skills for effective caregiver communication and patient education. Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques to prevent healthcare-associated infections. Capable of working independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach to patient care.
