Join Our Nursing Team at Elders' Helpers! Elders' Helpers is a trusted home care provider throughout West Michigan, committed to helping older adults live safely and independently. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to support our mission of enhancing the well-being of our clients. Spanish-speaking nurses are especially needed to better serve our diverse community.
Position Overview RNs:
Conduct supervisory visits, fulfill RN-specific responsibilities, and provide medication management for assigned clients.
LPNs:
Assist primarily with medication management, ensuring clients stay on schedule and maintain independence at home. Responsibilities Perform supervisory visits to evaluate care quality and support caregivers (RN role).
Provide medication management services:
set up pillboxes, verify accuracy, and educate clients/families. Develop and implement individualized care plans. Maintain accurate documentation of visits, medications, and care. Collaborate with clients, families, and care teams to adjust care as needed. Requirements Active RN or LPN license in Michigan. Reliable vehicle with valid driver's license and current auto insurance. Active cell phone for communication. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication with clients, families, and care teams. Compassionate and committed to supporting older adults. Home health care experience preferred, but not required. Spanish-speaking skills highly valued.
