Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and document student health status and communicate with families and staff as appropriate 1:1 monitoring and providing care while on school transportation and at school Collaborate with school staff to support student access to education Maintain accurate health records in compliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
Current and valid LPN or RN license in the state of Michigan CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience in pediatric, community health, or school nursing preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and respond effectively in dynamic environments
Preferred Skills:
Experience supporting students with specialized health needs such as Diabetes, Seizures, Tracheostomies, G-Tubes, Ventilators, etc. Familiarity with special education processes and documentation Commitment to equity, inclusion, and student-centered care.
Work Schedule & Environment:
Providing nurse care services on school transportation to/from student's home and while at school Schedule - as needed when nursing staff is absent Opportunity to work in a collaborative, student-focused environment

$30 to $42.50 Per Hour
