Overview True North Urgent Care is an independent locally owned and operated urgent care clinic that strives to provide an exceptional patient experience with every interaction. We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Assistant/Paramedic/LPN/EMT to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate demonstrates a high degree of clinical competence with previous urgent care or ambulatory clinic experience. Description True North Urgent Care is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Clinical Assistants. We are committed to providing exceptional patient-centered care and are seeking team members who share our values of collaboration, accountability, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Clinical:
Take accurate vital signs, conduct patient intake, assess medical conditions, and prepare patients for treatment. Use electronic medical record system efficiently. Order necessary supplies and tests as directed. Administer medications, injections, remove sutures, and change dressings as required. Assist medical providers with treatments and procedures. Perform point of care lab testing and phlebotomy procedures. Sterilize instruments and maintain treatment areas. Attend staff meetings and adhere to established policies and procedures. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the clinic. Operate and maintain medical equipment. Cultivate a positive and professional work environment.
Clerical:
Assist patients with check-in and registration processes. Verify patient information and insurance details. Collect co-payments and process charges accurately. Manage correspondence, filing, and scanning of medical documents. Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients.
Pay:
$41,184.00 - $46,800.00 per year
