Key Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted Minnesota LPN license Current CPR/AED certification required Minimum of two years experience working with pediatric populations, students, or in school/home health settings Demonstrated expertise in tracheostomy care and suctioning Comfort and ability to ride the school bus to and from home with the student, following the transportation schedule
Core Responsibilities:
Provide continuous 1:1 care and support to a student with complex medical needs Perform thorough trach monitoring and suctioning in accordance with the individualized healthcare plan Accurately document care activities, observations, and interventions daily Collaborate with the schools Health Services team, teachers, and the students family to deliver coordinated care Ensure compliance with all elements of the student-specific healthcare plan at all times Help foster a supportive, inclusive environment for the students optimal educational experience This contract runs the full 2026-2027 school year, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours in alignment with the school calendar.
