Job Description
LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
Responsibilities:
Monitor and document physical and mental health needs Use withdrawal screening, interview and history taking to assess patient safety Create and update medication administration records, administration of medication Work with psychiatric providers to assess mental health symptoms and create treatment plans Assist in maintaining high quality, timely nursing documentation in patient charts Provide patient education focused on treatment of mental health and substance use disorders Keep medical supplies in stock and up to date Supervise chemical dependency technician staff LPN -Licensed Practical Nurse Minimum Qualifications:
Experience working with mental health and substance use disorder is preferred Acknowledge understanding of Client Rights, per MN Rule 31, part 4747.1500. Must completed DHS background check and be cleared to work in human services programs. Acknowledge freedom from substance abuse problems and ability to comply with NSR drug free workplace policy. Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team. Must be able to work independently, manage time effectively, detail oriented Possess strong verbal and written communication skills LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)Salary/Benefits:
