Our growing dermatology practice is looking for a full-time Medical Assistant or LPN to join the team!

Hours :

Monday- Tuesday 8am-5pm and Wednesday-Thursday 8am to 5pm with availability to work Fridays 8am-5pm.

Pay :

Starting at $18.00 per hour, increases with experience.

Duties include:

Answering phone calls and making appointments. Prior authorizations for medications and biologics. Rooming and triaging patients. Assisting with in-office surgical procedures. Calling in and e-scribing medications as directed by physicians. Communicating with pharmacies about patient medications.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years working in healthcare. Knowledge of basic medical terminology. Must have a positive, upbeat attitude, and willingness to learn. Effective communication skills. Basic computer knowledge. Provide excellent patient care and customer service. Have excellent time management skills.
