LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse): Night Shift
Job Description
Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience in the Long Term Care setting. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients while working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Duties Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Administer medications and monitor patient responses. Conduct catheter care and catheterization procedures for patients. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in patient education and teaching within a clinical or teaching hospital environment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team. Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients. Experience Current LPN license in good standing. Knowledge of memory care practices is desirable. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
