Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the overall well-being and comfort of patients while adhering to medical standards and protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient conditions
- Assist with physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide patient education on various health topics, including family planning and medication administration
- Perform basic medical procedures such as catheterization and airway management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:- Strong knowledge of medical standards, procedures, and protocols
- Ability to perform physical examinations and provide appropriate care based on assessment findings
- Competency in administering medications via various routes
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques and interpretation of results
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in MS
- CPR certification
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
