Job Description
Qualifications or Skill Required:
Second-level Food Services position accountable for preparation and cooking of more complex menu items under general supervision. Follows standard kitchen procedures and sanitation guidelines. Prepares food trays with proper amounts of food for individuals with specific dietary needs. Participates in and may also assist in supervising the cleaning of the kitchen and food serving areas. Serves in food lines, stocks foods, and requisitions basic food and supply items. Typically requires a High School Diploma or high school equivalency and 1-2 years of work experience.Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Accountable for preparation and cooking of food.
- Responsible for keeping the kitchen sanitary and following kitchen procedures.
- Prepares food tray for individuals with specific dietary needs and proportions.
- Responsible for cleaning the kitchen and dining areas.
