Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide essential nursing care to residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to established MSDH standards. This role requires a strong commitment to resident care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Duties Administer medications as prescribed by physicians. Monitor resident vital signs and report any changes in condition. Assist in pain management strategies for residents. Provide emergency medical assistance when necessary. Maintain accurate resident records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with healthcare providers in case management to coordinate resident care plan effectively. Utilize knowledge of anatomy to assess resident needs and deliver appropriate care. Manage care staff and complete schedule or support scheduler with monthly schedule. Skills Proficient in pain management techniques and emergency medicine protocols. Experience administering medications Familiarity with home community care practices and case management processes. In-depth knowledge of anatomy relevant to nursing practices. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with residents and healthcare teams.
