Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an Occupational Health Nurse (LPN or MA) to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for promoting workplace health and safety, providing comprehensive nursing care to employees, and supporting organizational wellness initiatives. Your expertise will ensure a safe, healthy environment for all staff members while delivering high-quality clinical services. Responsibilities Conduct health assessments, screenings, and physical examinations to monitor employee health status. Administer immunizations, including flu vaccines and other workplace-required vaccinations. Manage injury and illness cases, providing first aid, triage, and appropriate referrals for further treatment. Coordinate with occupational health programs to support workers' compensation claims and ensure compliance with relevant laws. Deliver health education sessions on topics such as ergonomics, stress management, and disease prevention. Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring HIPAA compliance. Experience Proven nursing experience in occupational health or related fields such as emergency medicine, critical care, or hospital medicine. Strong background in medical documentation, medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and laboratory procedures. Experience working with diverse populations including individuals Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for patient care documentation and data management. Knowledge of Workers' Compensation law, infection control practices, aseptic technique.
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 per week
