Position Summary Champion Health System is seeking an experienced, energetic, and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Raleigh cardiovascular and procedural team. This is an outpatient clinical and procedural position designed for an LPN who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to participate in both cardiovascular patient care and office-based procedures. The LPN will work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff to support patients throughout the entire episode of care—from initial triage and clinic evaluation through procedure preparation, recovery, discharge, and post-procedure follow-up.

Key Responsibilities & Experience Required:

Patient triage and coordination with providers Preparing charts and identifying missing information before visits/procedures MIPS and quality-measure documentation Pre-operative and post-operative patient calls Pre-op and post-op patient management Assisting physicians/APPs with ultrasound-guided and fluoroscopy-guided procedures Procedure-room preparation, sterile setup, supplies, and patient monitoring EKGs Blood draws/phlebotomy Vital signs Peripheral pulse checks and vascular assessments within LPN scope Patient intake and discharge Reinforcing procedure education and pre/post-procedure instructions Wound care and dressing changes when needed Supporting loop recorder and pacemaker/device-clinic workflows, transmissions, documentation, and escalation to the appropriate provider/device specialist Medication reconciliation and chart documentation Coordinating follow-up testing, referrals, and appointments Maintaining smooth patient flow throughout the Raleigh clinic Qualifications Required Minimum 1 year of LPN experience 2+ years preferred Cardiology, vascular, procedural, ambulatory surgery, or outpatient experience strongly preferred Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is:

Scope of Practice All clinical responsibilities will be performed within the individual's LPN scope of practice, demonstrated competency, Champion Health System policies and procedures, applicable regulatory requirements, and under appropriate physician, APP, or RN supervision.
