Job Description
Job Description Overview Obtain vital signs and general health information for patient chart and prepares patient for examination. Assists the provider as needed with examinations and procedures. Assists in the collection of laboratory specimens and performance of tests on patients as ordered by the provider or arranges for patient testing, admissions and referrals. Enters and records patient information in charts in a concise and accurate manner. Qualifications The following, or equivalents, are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of the position. CMA
- Graduate of accredited program of Certified Medical Assistants. Prefer at least one year of clinical experience in family care practice. LPN
- Graduate of accredited program of Licensed Practical Nurse. Prefer at least one year of clinical experience in family care practice. Paramedic
- Current NC EMT-Paramedic Certification Current BLS Prefer at least one year of clinical experience in a clinical setting.
