Eventide Williamsburg in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work PRN, at least 24 hours a month with 16 of those hours on a weekend. This schedule includes a weekend and holiday rotation. Tabitha is now Eventide.

Essential Functions Follows through on physician's orders in accordance with Eventide's policies and procedures. If appropriate, receives and records physician's orders. Prepares, administers, and/or supervises administration of medication, treatments and other nursing services as ordered by the physician and according to facility policies/procedures. Observes Senior/client , watching for any sign of adverse reaction to medications. Assesses seniors/clients assigned to him/her in regard to physical, mental and psychosocial status, reporting condition changes in a timely manner to immediate supervisor and provides follow-up with family and physician as directed. Takes and accurately records vital signs. Diligently observes Senior/client skin per Eventide policies, proactively taking steps to avoid pressure ulcers. Completes procedures and documents the appropriate information on the Senior's/client's medical record in a timely manner according to Eventide's policies and procedures. With particular attention to accuracy and timeliness, follows department protocol for submission of completed documentation. Provides direction and monitors Med Aides who are delivering medications to Seniors/clients. Follows through on the comprehensive care plan as developed for each individual Senior/client. Provides supervision and education to Seniors/clients for the self-administration of medications. When applicable, assists in teaching the Senior/client and/or caregiver the necessary skills to allow the Senior/client to return to his/her home. Assists in writing and implementing a comprehensive nursing plan of care. Updates the plan based on changes in the Senior/client physical and/or emotional state. Ideal Candidate
