Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students in a school-based setting near Concord, NH. Several full-time 1:1 roles are available for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN/LVN), working directly with individual students to ensure their health and safety throughout the school day. With a diverse range of caseloads open, you can select assignments that best align with your skillset and preferences—including options that involve bus riding and direct participation in students' educational experiences.
What We're Looking For:
Current, active LPN license in New Hampshire Experience as an LPN or LVN, particularly in pediatric or school settings is highly valued Comfortable working 1:1 with students requiring varying levels of medical support Willingness to communicate your preferences regarding tracheostomy care, G-tube, ventilator, seizure management, diabetic care, toileting, bus riding, and academic assistance Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; adaptability to new environments Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
Key Functions:
Deliver direct, individualized healthcare services to assigned students, both in school and during transportation as needed Provide support with medical tasks such as trach care, G-tube/vent management, seizure monitoring, diabetic care, toileting, and medication administration (based on experience and comfort) Assist students with academic activities or mobility during the school day as requested Maintain accurate health documentation and collaborate closely with educational staff, families, and healthcare teams Imagine making a daily difference in a student's life—facilitating their learning environment and health needs, all while building valuable clinical experience.
