09 Weeks Job Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care to residents in a nursing home/LTC setting. Administer medications and treatments as ordered and in accordance with facility policies. Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to the RN or appropriate healthcare provider. Perform nursing assessments and document residents' status, care, and interventions accurately. Assist with wound care, treatments, and other nursing procedures as assigned. Monitor and record vital signs, blood glucose levels, and other clinical observations as required. Assist with activities of daily living and provide compassionate, resident-centered care. Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and medication records. Follow infection-control practices, safety procedures, and facility policies. Protect resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times. Requirements Active New Mexico LPN license. Previous nursing home, long-term care, or skilled nursing facility experience preferred. Current BLS certification preferred/required based on facility requirements. Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a healthcare team. Experience with medication administration and electronic medical records preferred. Must be available to work the full 09-week contract and scheduled night shifts.
