The ideal candidate will have prior experience as either a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN), with a passion for working in a school environment. Your clinical expertise will help ensure a safe, nurturing, and healthy atmosphere for students and staff during the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct care, assessment, and intervention for student health concerns and injuries Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with medical guidelines and school policies Maintain accurate health records for students and ensure confidentiality Collaborate with faculty, parents, and a multidisciplinary team to support student wellness Implement health education initiatives and promote healthy habits within the school community Respond promptly to medical emergencies and coordinate any necessary follow-up care Support IEP/504 processes with relevant medical documentation Monitor and manage chronic health conditions among students

Preferred Qualifications:

Current, valid RN license (LPNs may also be considered with school nursing experience) Experience in school or pediatric nursing is highly desirable Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment CPR/BLS certification This centrally located assignment, just outside Yerington, NV, delivers a meaningful impact and the chance to build lasting relationships in a supportive educational setting.
