This full-time contract opportunity spans the entire school year, allowing you to offer stability and support to a young learner requiring specialized attention. With an immediate start, your day will run from 7:15 AM to 3:00 PM, aligning with the school schedule and leaving your evenings free. In this position, youll accompany a student on the bus, ensuring their safety and well-being from pickup to drop-off, and provide comprehensive nursing care throughout the school day. Your clinical expertise and compassion will make a meaningful difference every day.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current and valid LPN or RN license in New York Experience in a school, pediatric, or related healthcare setting Ability to provide 1:1 care for medically fragile children Strong assessment, monitoring, and documentation skills Comfortable with bus riding and flexible to meet transportation needs Excellent communication skills for collaboration with families and staff Compassionate and attentive to the needs of children with complex medical conditions
Key Responsibilities:
