Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) -
Pediatric Infusions & Vaccines Location:
Cedarhurst/Five Towns, NY Compensation:
$40-$45 per hour
Schedule:
Full-Time | Flexible Hours Position Overview A busy pediatric medical office in Cedarhurst is seeking an experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse to join its clinical team. The LPN will provide hands-on pediatric care while taking primary responsibility for staying on top of vaccine administration, vaccine records, and infusion coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with children and families, and has previous hands-on experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW). Responsibilities Administer vaccines and accurately document all required information. Track vaccine inventory, expiration dates, storage requirements, and patient schedules. Coordinate and support pediatric infusion services according to provider orders and established protocols. Prepare patients for treatment and monitor them as directed. Complete patient intake, vital signs, medication reconciliation, and clinical documentation. Maintain accurate and timely records in eClinicalWorks. Communicate professionally with providers, patients, families, pharmacies, and the clinical team. Follow all infection-control, medication-safety, and pediatric-care protocols. Schedule Requirements Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule within the following office hours:
Sunday:
9:00 AM-5:00
PM Monday-Thursday:
Between 8:00 AM and 8:00
PM Friday:
8:00 AM-2:00 PM Individual shifts will be scheduled within these hours and may include Sundays and evenings. Qualifications Active New York State LPN license required. Previous eClinicalWorks (eCW) experience required. Pediatric or medical-office experience strongly preferred. Vaccine administration and infusion-related experience preferred. Excellent organization, communication, and documentation skills. Comfortable working with pediatric patients and their families. Reliable and able to accommodate a flexible schedule.
