Category Nursing - LPN Job Type Contract Deliver excellent patient care in a supportive long-term care environment, utilizing your expertise as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This contract role is ideal for compassionate and motivated clinicians who are committed to enhancing quality of life for residents in a long-term care setting.
Key Qualifications:
Active LPN or RN license in good standing Experience working in long-term care or similar healthcare environments Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting Current BLS certification
Schedule:
Contract position; specific shift details will be discussed during the interview process
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver patient-centered care under the direction of a supervising RN (for LPNs) or independently (for RNs) Conduct ongoing assessments and document changes in residents' health status Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols Provide emotional support and coaching to residents and families Ensure infection control and safety measures are strictly followed Monitor, report, and record symptoms or changes in patients' conditions Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and healthcare staff for comprehensive care planning Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans
