9652891-13754 Job Description Make a meaningful difference in a childs educational experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) supporting an elementary student near Deposit, NY. This contract position offers the unique opportunity to provide specialized, 1:1 care for an 8-year-old 3rd-grade student who requires skilled nursing interventions throughout the school day.

Key Details:

Contract role, working with one student MondayFriday schedule, approximately 7:15 AM3:15 PM Meet the student at their home each morning and accompany them on the bus to and from school Anticipated start date: September 15, 2026

Qualifications and Required Experience:

Active LPN/LVN license, with clinical competence in pediatric care Comfortable and experienced with trach and Passy-Muir valve care Previous school or pediatric nursing experience is highly preferred Must be able to provide compassionate, individualized care in a 1:1 setting Able to ride and supervise on the school bus daily Reliable transportation to meet student at their home each morning

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct 1:1 nursing support for the student throughout the school day Administer tracheostomy care and manage Passy-Muir valve needs safely and efficiently Monitor the students overall health status and respond to emergencies as needed Collaborate with the school nurse, who will provide coverage during scheduled breaks Maintain clear, accurate documentation of care provided Step into a critical, hands-on nursing role that ensures a young student can attend school safely and participate fully in their learning environment.
