Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Endwell Family Physicians, LLP 415 Hooper Rd, Endwell, NY 13760 Job details Endwell Family Physicians is looking for a caring and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our family medical practice in Endwell, New York. - Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance quality of service and care offered to patients in a private physician practice.
- Administer immunizations and injections
- Prepare patients for examination and treatment by escorting them from the waiting area to the exam rooms
- Obtain and document patient medical history, chief complaints, vital signs, medications and allergies.
- Assist with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician and/or licensed nurse practitioner.
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and complete appropriate paperwork as directed by provider(s)
- Document ongoing patient telephone calls, respond to patient's questions, and communicate medical information effectively with providers for patient plan of care.
- Prepare rooms before and after patients, sterilize (when needed) and prepare instruments and equipment.
- Follow protocols
- Maintain patient confidentiality
Requirements:
- Degree or certifications from an accredited school of nursing
Current New York State Practical Nurse License Schedule:
- 40 hours per week is considered full time.
- Monday to Friday
- Day and Evening shifts
