Job Description
The Caswood Group has an immediate opening for a Licensed Practical Nurse to support a student at a local school. We are looking for an experienced LPN comfortable working with elementary school-aged children to work every school day, starting immediately through end of June 2027. This position follows the school calendar. 1:1 LPN Job Description is as follows: 8:30am-3:30pm Monday- Friday (school days only) Must be able to work in an environment with young, active children with emotional or physical disabilities Must be reliable, on time and professional Toileting assist Competitive Pay Minimum Requirements Minimum of four years' experience as a LPN Experience working with students with emotional or physical disabilities Current NYS Nursing License, Active and in good standing Meets professional nursing standards and pertinent local, state, and federal requirements Federal background check, Drug screen, Agility test, Physical statement/annual health update, MMR & PPD Strong clinical communication Skills Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and record keeping Physical Requirements Must possess reliable transportation and be able to travel to and from work Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must be able to sufficiently move equipment without assistance. Must be able to sustain prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and twisting. Must be able to sit and climb stairs. Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions, such as, possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids and infectious diseases Monday-Friday 35
