Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Current LPN or RN license with eligibility to practice in New York Experience in school-based nursing or pediatric healthcare preferred Knowledge of protocols for medically fragile children Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff Ability to provide skilled, compassionate care in both classroom and bus settings Prompt, reliable attendance and professional demeanor

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized medical care and monitoring to an assigned student Administer medications, manage health needs, and respond to emergencies as needed Support safe transportation by accompanying the student on the school bus to and from campus Communicate health status, changes, and concerns to families and school professionals Maintain accurate records of treatments and interventions Serve as a resource for best practices in student health and safety Uphold privacy standards and comply with all applicable guidelines This rewarding role offers the chance to partner closely with educators and families, creating a positive, nurturing environment for a student who truly needs your support.
