You will assist with patient care under the direction of a registered nurse or physician, administer medications within your scope, and document care using electronic health record (EHR) systems. To qualify, you need a current Ohio LPN license, graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, and a high school diploma or GED. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred but not required. Completion of a basic arrhythmia class is required for telemetry units. Recommended experience includes one year of clinical patient care in acute care, long-term care, or physician practice.
