Currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a full-time assignment, where you'll work directly with a 15-year-old student requiring dedicated 1:1 nursing care per their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). This crucial role starts as soon as possible and extends through May 2027, offering consistent daytime hours (37.5 hours per week) within the academic calendar.

Your Experience & Skills:

Hold current LPN or LVN licensure for the state Prior experience providing direct care to school-aged children, especially in a school setting, strongly preferred Comfort managing orthopedic, respiratory, urological, and gastroenterological needs Familiarity with IEPs and 1:1 nursing care plans is a plus Ability to build rapport with young students and collaborate with school staff and families Excellent organizational and documentation skills

What You'll Be Doing:

Provide 1:1 care to a 15-year-old student for the full school day, ensuring safety and well-being Monitor and address medical needs including orthopedic, respiratory, urological, and gastroenterological aspects as outlined in the IEP Respond promptly to any medical changes or emergencies Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and services provided Communicate effectively with educational team members and the student's family regarding ongoing care and any changes in condition Take pride in making a difference in a student's daily life while building strong professional relationships on a supportive school team.
