We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in the Personal Care Home of our award-winning senior living community. We have the following LPN shifts available: Full-time ; Day-shift (6 am - 2:30 pm); 64 hours per two-week pay period; additional hours available on an as needed basis; 8-hour shifts; includes every other weekend & holiday as scheduled. PRN ; Day (6 am - 2:30 pm) and Evening (2 pm - 10:30 pm) shift; hours as needed.

Your typical shift may include:

Administering medications and doing treatments Monitoring residents, including taking and recording vital signs, and accurately charting with an electronic medical record system. Reporting conditions to the Nursing Supervisor and physicians. Supervising nursing assistants and helping the Person Care Home run smoothly. Ensuring that supplies, medications, and equipment are stocked and maintained so your team is ready for everything. Admitting, discharging, or transferring residents. This job may be for you if: You are a graduate of an accredited LPN nursing program, and you have a valid PA LPN license. We encourage graduate nurses with a temporary practice permit to apply, too. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You encourage, inspire, and put people at ease, but you can also have tough conversations in a warm and respectful way. You have good judgment and decision-making skills. You think on your feet and simultaneously see the big picture and individual needs. You're comfortable using computers. Software helps you to track residents' needs so you can provide the best care possible. You demonstrate resilience.
