Duties & Responsibilities:

Administer tube feedings. Administer medications as prescribed by a doctor on a daily basis. Documentation of prescription medication administration to students in electronic medical system. Implement seizure precautions and treatments. Attend field trips and community-based trips. Provide tracheostomy care and, if needed, replacement of tracheostomy tube. Support with toileting routines in the nurse's office. Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries and illnesses. Implement nursing care plans as prescribed. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in nursing required OR LPN program completed required Current registered nurse licensure required OR LPN licensure required Experience working with special needs children preferred. Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required (must be dated within one year of hire date).

Schedule:

Monday•Friday, 7.5 hours per day; 185 days per year

Hourly Rate:

Support Contract Level 11 Hourly rate $24.82•$27.38 (based on years of experience in a similar role)
